The
Upper School is comprised of the classes Flight (Yr. 3), Form Three
(Yr. 4), Lower IV (Yr. 5) and Upper IV (Yr. 6). The classes are small
and are taught by class teachers with the exception of some curriculum
areas; namely ICT, Art and Music. A balanced curriculum, which is both
supportive yet challenging, gives opportunities for the individual to
develop in all areas. Teaching, as in Lower School, is based on the
National Curriculum and provides plenty of scope for extension and diversification,
not forgetting the incorporation of French from Flight upwards. |
Upper school assessments During the Spring and Summer Terms children in Upper IV (Yr.6) rise to the challenge of both their entrance examinations and SATs. We take great pride in the fact that our final year pupils gain entry to their first choice school. We also have an excellent record of achievement in the statutory tests. |
